We are an independently owned business that caters to homeowners, contractors, island businesses and seasonal guests located on the beautiful Bald Head Island, N.C. What We Offer

We carry all of your construction and home repairs needs including, plumbing, electrical, fasterners, tools, paint and sundries, grills, bicycles, beach supplies, outdoor furniture, fishing equipment and bait, cleaning supplies, small appliances, kitchen utensils and yes.... toys for the little one! If you think it, we got it! Our staff is knowledgable about all aspects of repairs for home and business and we offer special ordering for hard to get items (we even offer delievery on large orders)!

If you don't see what you're looking for, be sure to stop one of us in the store and we would be glad to work with you! We want to know how we can better meet your needs and improve our work.

BHI Hardware & General, partnered with IEG to support the recovery efforts in the mountains of western North Carolina. We recently purchased and donated essential items, including chainsaws and supplies, to aid in the disaster recovery work spearheaded by the North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church’s Disaster Response Team.

In times of need, we are committed to standing with our communities and providing resources that make a difference. These tools will support cleanup and rebuilding efforts, helping families and neighborhoods get back on their feet after the recent challenges.
